who moved my cheese?
and i'm about to drop kick it.
the blasted thing keeps disconnecting from my pooter every 3.8 seconds, which is rather stressful when an assignment is approaching its deadline.
and i have sand in my eyes.
but i am totally multiliterate.

have just done the final edit on my very first powerpoint, and am rather glad that i've been a Web Wife all these years cos i have even hyperlinked to this hilarious website and even to youtube and hidden it behind the logos. so yeah, ya click on the screen and BOOM! it takes ya right there.

Multiliterate Wizard Award.
and in other news (yeah, the globe keeps turning even while i'm down inside the tube) Woozie sang at school assembly today. the first we heard of it was when Bulldog turned up to skool and teachers kept running up to him amazed. yeah.

Vocal Wizard Award.
oh, i just read the blog and realised that Woozie has been featuring rather prominently here of late. there ARE other peeps who live here still:
let me think:

Sambo has nearly finished a huge Road Trip assignment - he is coming to a city near you.
we had teacher interviews and Holy Charlie is a total brain, rather like Mousey.

and we are about to go on a Noho Marae visit this weekend, just BD and moi. we'll have to do our mihi. yes, i've been practising: Kō Maungawhau tōku maunga... etc.
nothing compliKATEd, just following the KISS principle.

so that means that Granny and GD are arriving in two days' time to look after the cherubs - with DANNY BOY who is about to turn twenty (TWENTY?!!) and who hasn't had any more rides in police cars (as far as i know)

i bought a "teachery" book today.

If you can handle a rogue mouse you can handle a classroom. Same principals apply. Click then gently, use smooth movements and when they play up, unplug them.
OK. So that analogy didn't work as well as I hoped...
Nah... being in charge of a classroom is the BEST bit... no-one to boss you round and say no don't do that and no don't touch and whadaya mean you let the kids have fun?
I am totally overwhelmed by all this AIMS stuff and the Nationals stuff and lists and lists of things-you-must-buy and how much it's all going to cost. Tim and I are not straying past Auck on this trip, S will be in Hamilton with the team so we might even get up to nooky!
PS Leave as many letters and PS's on my blog as you want. In fact, the more the merrier.
Oh and hey, the boys in my class have come up with a rad new idea for a blog so we're going to kick that into action ASAP. Wait til you see what we're doing with a pile of coffee bean sacks. So fun.
Me thinks your mouse might need defluffing!? - Sounds rather scary but It's quite simple- there is a little ball in the mouse and sometimes it gets clogged. You could also get another cheap mouse - not that dear and much cheaper than a therapy session!
Oh enjoy your little soire away. We are away too - hopefullly connecting some!
Love to you dear friend and a teaching book sounds jolly marvellous - I have just bought 3 books off amazon - one on blogs, and two on flowers! JOY!

You are going to be awesome. Being 'in charge' of the classroom is no different that what you've been doing at home. They'll be putty in your hands. :)
Full on! Don't forget to breathe! x
Kia Ora Katie,

Oh, Kate, if being in your class is as crazy fun as reading your blog, you'll be the top contender for the Teacher of The Universe award in no time :)
Ditto what Liesl said! x
