kate5kiwis: woozie goes global

kate5kiwis

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

woozie goes global

talk about
*turn your jeans into a couture piece*
here we have woozie's old black jeans
refashioned into a *gorgeous*
ROMANCE AND ROSES dress
which she modelled tonight at
our city's *global connexions* show.
far out, there is *so* much talent out here,
no prizes won this time,
but *far out* (again)
i am *so* proud of you finishing
your first garment so beautifully.
you were one of ten entrants nominated for
the Sewing Neatness award.
awesome: you will make your auntie proud.
yep, there's a lot of creativity
out there in the teenage world:
wonderful artists and designers
going to town on their sewing machines
and we were *so* inspired by
eleventy billion fabulous outfits.
there are already a whole lotta ideas
buzzing inside your head
for next year's show!!!
of course we think that (singing now)
"you were the third most
beautiful girl in the room...
"

oooh, woozie may have to enlist your help with a fascinator for next year, she has been designing a dress that looks like "fawkes" the phoenix from Harry Potter.
feathers in the hair is a definite must have for that outfit!!! X
