“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

well - yes - we're high as kites after hearing the news that Bulldog has indeed received a scholarship to finish his degree next year!!!!! so blimmin' exciting!!!!!

what better way to celebrate than dancing the night away at the school ball:
i wore mum's vintage petticoat as a dress! (well, the theme was *moulin rouge*) and a black feather boa and some dark red glossy "dorothy" heels, and i found this fabulous shirt for BD at the local op shop for $2 and made him a black satin tie at the eleventh hour:
rather cheesy, but what a fabulous moment!!

woozie was helping in the cloakroom,
but her daddy swept her off her feet once or twice too.

Catching up on your blog has been like exhaling this morning... ahhh - all is well in the world! Beautiful doll.

Speaking of dolls, let me plant your next movie in your brain "Lars and the Real Girl!" Quirky and deep - watched it with Madge on Friday night with Galliano and Cookies and Cream! xx

Enjoy the sunshine, and yes - spring is coming but I'm still stuck at home with sick kids!

Hey that's fantabulous news! So jealous... I'm gonna do it too one day. The dancing looked like fun, cool photos. I'm glad Woozie got to dance with her Dad, my Dad wouldn't dance with me at my formal, too busy staking out the toilets for illicit booze LOL

BD often gets the "woah, you scrub up well..." chat. makes me wonder what he usually looks like lol X

i do have one full length photo of me in mum's dress but it's showing a ridiculous amount of fishnet-clad-leg so it ain't goin' anywhere lol X

BD starts in march 2009, these things are organised way in advance lol X

it's on the list woot woot. so's the icecream!!! love that stuff X
