I really like the contrast and balance of strong lights, dark darks. And the diagonal lines and planes.
Wait. That sounds like I'm back in art class. You know what I mean: cool photo. :)

'twas i. BD was sitting in hot sunshine in our Secret Garden yesterday morning, post-espresso, struggling with the reading for his essay (which is due on friday, *ack!*). he was wearing his fave bright red hoodie and i was hovering (not to be confused with hoovering, which i am avoiding)... i took a few snaps with my zoomless camera cos i wanted to play with the (very basic) editor on the pooter. so i black-and-whited it out and played with the sharpness, fuzziness and midtones etc.
the photo-moment goes with the song on the sidebar.
love that song.

i am having such difficulty navigating the pattern of the tailored coat i am attempting. i am really hoping you're on the plane already, with sewing machine, serger (kiwis call it an over locker lol) and bottle of bubbly firmly clinched under your arm....
