when Bulldog and i were teenagers, you couldn't tell us apart from the back view. it wasn't JUST that we both had light brown/blondie curly hair - well it WAS back in the *eighties perm* days - and i'd trimmed BD's gorgeous curlylocks, resulting in the hilarious nickname "Bob" (oops)!!! - it WAS COS i wore his clothes. duh, not the whole shebang - just the homeknitted aran jumpers - BD had TWO jumpers that i *loved* - one was oatmeal, and one was *sunshine yellow*. (oh alright then, i wore his boardies too.) but ya think *i'm* the hippie? BD's fave stylish outfit included a stripey poncho...
*snort*
gosh i am so cheeky - cos that poncho was rather stylish bohemian.
a week ago, BD grabbed an outfit from the local chuck-out shop...
which was gifted to me post-party. am really not sure what i'm gonna do with the size 48 tangerine blossoms top (any takers? i'm even offering free postage within NZ lol. email me. cos orange is just *not* my fave colour - in clothes - i'd give - um - two inches of my hair - and no more - i'm still trying to grow it to my jeans before i'm forty - for a retro orange VW bug though.)
i knew exactly what to do with the hippie-pants:
they're oh so flared now, and oh so long, and oh so cheerful, and oh so *hippie hippie joy joy*
and nope, i ain't sharing them with Bulldog.
(PS anyone need a hyphen or a dash? please help yourself to two or three of mine...)

It's so nice that you enjoy sewing. And check out that rick-rack! :) I want to sew but I haven't been able to find my groove lately.
stripey poncho. double snort.
Cosmic!
Must get myself down to the local chuck-out shop! Girl, is this just your creative language, or do all NZers really talk like this? I would LOVE to hear you and katydidnot conversing! She'd be all: Yeah-huh! Then you'd be all:Fave this, and whang that and SPESHUL CAPS all around!
You katy/katies make me dizzy. Good dizzy. :)
Too cool, love the toes peeping out. I'm supposed to be sewing beachy stuff for the holidays but getting side tracked by a new fleecy hat pattern. Hope you're having a beautiful weekend.
Heehee, you and Hay are my Hippy inspiration. Love thrifted clothes!
