kate5kiwis: sunshine all weekend

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

sunshine all weekend

surely there cannot be a three word phrase any more beautiful than "sunshine all weekend"? oh, well, "i love you" and "you've won lotto" are pretty cool too, although the third has never been heard by me. i found my muse with louise's necklace late on friday night. it was one of those moments when i threaded up everything perfectly first time.
usually there is alot of rethreading to get things perfickly perfect, but not with this necklace. fifty brilliant turquoise (louise's fave colour) fire-polished glass beads are interspersed with "twos" glass seed beads which symbolise her two children and/or louise and hubby.
wouldn't you know it, the first thing that louise did when we arrived at her party was to put her new necklace on!!! ya can't see it, but the clasp has two deliKATE hearts on it, cos the birthday party was on valentine's day.
yep, i took the kids camping and left Bulldog home to write another essay. how romantic is that? oops.

Baby, you're such the bestest friend ever! I love your necklace, and I love LouLou's daisy chain (I would've probably expected to see that on you). I was gutted having got halfway there, only to have to turn around again. Hopefully we have the car sorted today, apparently by tomorrow we will know if it was just the battery, or if we have to pay a wee visit to the auto electrician. Bit scarey at the time admittedly. See ya when we're looking at ya ;o) xoxoxo

We're having sunshine here today too! but it's more treasure in the winter, I think. :) Looks like you had fun beading and camping and celebrating. How do you camp? Use a tent, rent a cabin??

yeah, so sad you didn't make it, missed you! am thinking we'll maybe trek out there in march when BD is a free agent - will keep ya posted X

it was awesome, there's nothing like a change of scenery that gives ya a bit of life perspective X

these cabins are incredibly cheep cheep. $25 a night TOTAL for 7 big beds - it's like a Little House On The Prairie log cabin - one tap out the back, and a long drop toilet (scroll down for a funny dunny poem - "dunny" is a kiwi pseudonym for toilet)...

if we go tenting, BD and i share the two room tent and the kids all put up their own pup tents.
but i think we need to stay somewhere for at least three nights to warrant the huge palaver of putting up the tent lol X

Heehee, this pic reminds me of "Themla and Louise". I can just see both of you riding off into the sunset. Ok, except you both would totaly live and not be in trouble with the law. Hmm, anyway. Looooourve the necklace and I want to know how one goes about getting one?
