mystery monday
today's mystery monday paper revealed the instruction: *walk around the monmouth redoubt and walk down to mövenpick for ice creams* so we popped into town and had a wonderful windy walk around the redoubt,
i heard phrases like, "i'm gold leader"... "i'm silver leader" etc
and lots of gun noises and army man poses... until the littlest voice said, "i'm chilly chilly bang bang..." at which point we went off in search of ice creams... but the mövenpick shop was shut... so we settled for hot sundaes...

We're finally getting our minivan back this week! Maybe once I have a better vehicle to drive I'll get out more, like you do. It'd probably be a lot better for all of us.
sounds like it was a fun history lesson :)
hey you!
you always have the coolest mystery Mondays papers!! who came up with that initial idea? and who came up with all the fun things to do?

it'a amazing how much *history* is around The Sunny Bay, lots of battles fought, won and *so* close at hand, it's been tons of fun discovering another place in aotearoa X

ah, twas i, moi, coming home from a wonderful weekend with hubby, the idea just flew into my mind...
so the next day the lads'n'i sat around the breakfast bar and brainstormed a whole lotta ideas and wrote them on sunshine-paper.
the rules are: *mystery monday* happens AFTER The Big Post-Weekend Clean Up, and it has exercise and food involved.... and it has to cost less than $10... and yes, it's been loads of fun!! X
brilliant concept, totally brilliant :)
