the hippie-happy-homeskooling-mother has finally found all the pens and pencils which the kids kept insisting had disappeared...
in The Nefarious Bottom Drawer in the kitchen. ok, let's have another *prize pick*... cos i am desperate to finish The Clean Out and get back to some *creative moments*:
GUESS THE NUMBER OF PENS AND PENCILS KATIE FOUND TODAY..... clue: they're all now safely stashed in the box, in the bottom left corner of the *tidy* drawer above!!

I say 25 pens and pencils.
I find they have a mind of their own....I either have HEAPS or none at all! Mind you I have a feeling my school dwelling husband may have some thing to do with that :-)
I'm going to say 29 - I seem to have that number on my mind lately....and please can I win - it's not that I'm competitive, I just hate to lose. And for the record there is method to my counting - I have done a count of the pens I can see, and then multiplied it by the depth of an icecream container - "so I can clearly choose the cup infront of me...let's drink" (movie line)

Oh, and how tidy it that drawer!!!!!!!!!! I am a bit envious....I don't even have a drawer like that! And if I did, it wouldn't stay like that for long.

Is it wrong that I covet your drawer? Both for the neatness and the amount of stationary supplies in it. It is giving me goosebumps. And I say 43 is the number, just because.

I say 20...and can you jump a few continents to come to my house for a little organizing...I'm pretty sure I have a few nefarious drawers.

you are so right: according to The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have" but D17 says to tell you that digital watches aren't such a good idea. lol.

and i have finally finished Cleaning Out My Room, which just leaves The Pantry, and The Freezer (anyone have a spare ice pick??). i think i'll leave those 'til next week.
