R13 and Steph have spent the best part of two days trialing different sherbet recipes and flavours to stuff into straws which are sealed top-and-bottom, using a candle flame heat-and-squeeze technique (rather creative, i thought).

i'm a *blonde* kiwi chick who married my childhood sweetheart (*awwwww*)!!! Hubby (aka Bulldog) and i have five gorgeous kiddos. after sixteen years of being home eduKATEd, three years ago we all went to skool.. but we still get called the von trapps.

Very ingenious! We have 'pixie sticks' up here. Sticks filled with powdery sugary goodness, they are more than 20c I think :)
