fun and laughter on a summer holiday...
of course we loved *tent city*...
we got the chunderbug for day two/three but apart from that it was a blast:
sun, surf, and smiles.
strings of glass beads from the little hippie himalaya shop along the road.
was so busy having fun that I took hardly any photos.
must remedy that next camping trip (in just over two weeks time)...
the perfect NZ beach,complete with craggy pohutukawa trees.

view from the top i do love tenting, but oh how wonderful it is to arrive home, pop the clothes in the washing machine, the dishes in the dishwasher and *push the button!!*, have a hot shower and smooth legs again... and fall asleep in our soft (uninflatable) bed.

here its been muddy and somewhat chilly like it cant decide if its going to ever really be winter or not...
It would be so awesome to have summer in december ;)
Photos are wonderful, such a beautiful beach. And tent city, haven't done that in many years. I do have to say I don't know what chunderbug is, but glad it only lasted a day or two. Enjoy summertime!

What a blast! I enjoy camping as well and LOVE the beach...I MISS the beach and think I need a vacation. I know, I just took one but vacations with family over holidays although wonderful are not that relaxing.
