“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

"The Princess Bride is the BEST. MOVIE. EVER. Throwing out Princess Bride quotes is the best way to find kindred spirits. If they laugh and finish the quote then friendship is possible. If they just look at you blankly then don't even try." (Sally)

Yay! I'm Buttercup! You'd love the annual "Beer, Brats and Bride" get-together our local homescooling group has. Beer, bratwurst (hey, we're Lutheran!) and watching the Princess Bride. Quoting along with the movie, all the way through, of course!

LOL! My almost 3 yo is obssessed with Princess Bride. She likes me to pretent to be Wesley so she can be Buttercup. Yesterday at the park she saw a teen boy with blonde chin-length hair & said "Mama, that's Wesley!"

Hi Kate!
Hee Hee, I did the Princess Bride character test and came up with either Fezzick or Westley, depending on a couple of answers!
Funny eh? Who were you?
