kate5kiwis: chocolate fudge cake

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

chocolate fudge cake

J10 was up before the crack of dawn, desperate to make the chocolate fudge slice that he'n'the boys made at kids club last night. The other brothers raced out to help.. and lick the bowl.. and everyone was amazed that you "cook it in the fridge" !!!

Chocolate Fudge Cake

1 packet wine biscuits, crushed
add 125g butter, melted
add 1 tablespoon cocoa,
1/2 tin sweetened condensed milk,
3/4 cup coconut and mix well.
press into lined tin, ice with

chocolate icing:
blend together
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cocoa
a little water

and refrigerate for half an hour until set
(or until you can't stand waiting any longer and just *have* to sample it for breakfast)

"wine biscuits" aren't as exciting as they sound, sorry :o)
they are just a brand of plain sweet biscuit, usually about 250g in a packet. you could use any bikkies you like...
happy baking :o)

Sounds good, got it added to our list of to do's. It will probably get pushed up closer to the top of the list, due to the yummy issue.
