i'm a *blonde* kiwi chick who married my childhood sweetheart (*awwwww*)!!! Hubby (aka Bulldog) and i have five gorgeous kiddos. after sixteen years of being home eduKATEd, three years ago we all went to skool.. but we still get called the von trapps.

ummmm, we-e-e-e-ell, it's a funny thing: you can't live an experience until you live it. i thought i would *sob* all the way home from The Big Smoke this afternoon, but i didn't, instead i sang along really loudly with Evermore: "cos i see the light surrounding you, so don't be afraid of something new..."
and we're gonna rendezvous in three weeks (at easter) so it doesn't seem like such a void between here and there, you know?
on the other hand i feel like i'm missing an arm and half of my guts, just *knowing* the reality of "our first baby birdie in flight". but he's ready. and the place is buzzing with adventure and expectation, Bulldog thinks he'll feel like he's on camp for the first few weeks. wonderful.
the kids have been talking all afternoon about how much we miss him already, and simultaneously grinning over his room becoming vacant lol. S10 wants to skype him already.
yep, lots in my head/heart: i am off to the gym now, i think i'm gonna become *very* fit over the next few weeks.
of course my *real* thoughts are longer than my blog post. but you already knew that.
