kate5kiwis: more mafia madness

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

more mafia madness

Last night the neighbourhood rang with cries of "fettuccine.. lamborghini... ferrari... belladonna.... " as half a million teens arrived for yet another mafia night... it was l-o-a-d-s of loud loud fun.. helped along by half a dozen bottles of sugar-filled-fizzy-drink and a ton of popcorn.
Of course there was mass hysteria over the very creative "deaths" of various mafia and citizens: ground into flour and made into bread and fed to the ducks.. fed to the sharks... put into a potato
soufflé for the president.. suffocated in the tub of popcorn...
It seems like there's a bit of a food theme going on here:
and yes, we even ate pannacotta: so italian...
all yelling: Viva La Mafia!!!!!!!

murder mystery and mafia:
two different things, easily confused...

mafia is That Card Game that the warners introduced us to: everyone gets dealt a card and no one knows which one you got... you are either black (mafia) or red (citizen) and the mafia band together to try to kill off the citizens, and the doctor and sheriff can save/find out about who is mafia and who isn't.. while everyone is "sleeping"..

the *host a murder* night: that was such a fun weekend, we've done one night like that since we moved to The Sunny Bay... i do feel the inclination for another...??
i'm not sure where F put the files. i remember doing a greek one that he wrote too. i was something-or-other sexpotus and michelle w was servus instantmix (the cook)...
oh i do *love* F's s.o.h.

Ken teaches the non-card version of Mafia to all his English classes (ah YES he even has a rationale for it!). He is known throughout the whole entire school of 1500 students, as the teacher who plays Mafia....he's SO cool! Yay! for non media fun. :-)
