kate5kiwis: spring festival

kate5kiwis

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

spring festival

we made garlands for our heads and bracelets for our arms,

we decorated the tall poles with flowers..

and we d-a-n-c-e-d...

may the circle be open, but unbroken

may the love of the mother be ever in your heart.

merry meet and merry part

merry meet again...

i know what you're thinking about that song:
and i feel like we belong in a woodland forest with a bunch of spring fairies. the carrot cake was divine though...

Hmmmmm, Merry you say? A poet I am not - Except for things like "fuss" and "us", "harm" and "charm", "mean it" and "peanut", "rhyme" and "time", "ahead" and " be dead", lol!

Do you wanna a sort of rhyming verse:

Merry like the jolly man,
Merry like the leaping lamb,
Winter, Spring, Summer Autumn
Just what season are we in?
Does it matter, do we care?
Good company is what we'll share
Memories are what we'll make,
And memories are what we'll take.

I just made that up now, shocking, isn't it?
Am I doing your homework for you?

Or maybe something that doesn't rhyme at all, but is a copy of an entry for "Merry" at thesaurus.com:

Merry - amusing, blithe, blithesome, boisterous, boon, carefree, cheerful, comic, comical, convivial, enjoyable, entertaining, facetious, festive, frolicsome, fun-loving, funny, gay, glad, gleeful, go-go, grooving, hilarious, humorous, jocund, jolly, joyful, joyous, jumping, larking, light-hearted, lively, mad, mirthful, perky, pleasant, riotous, rip-roaring, rocking, rollicking, saturnalian, sportive, sunny, unconstrained, uproarious, vivacious, wild, winsome, zappy, zingy, zippy.

Or something a bit deeper:

Here
begynneth a merry Ieste of
a shrewde and curst Wyfe, lap-
ped in Morrelles Skin,
for her good beha-
uyour.

IMPRINTED AT
London in Fleetestreete, beneath
the Conduite, at the signe of Saint Iohn
Euangelist, by H. Iackson.

Blah, Blah.....

Have I taken enough of your comment-space up yet?

Wow, spring festival, and you go all out for it. I guess we will be getting shot of summer at the beach while we are settling in for winter. I look forward to it.
