kate5kiwis: marbling

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

marbling

for a long time now, i've been convinced that home-schooling is all about the mommy. well, educating the mommy. for some idiot-reason, i thought that to do "marbling", one needed to use marbles?? but the kids have re-educated me AGAIN. kinda looks like a science experiment to me: you need a few different coloured liquid oil paints, dropped in to a large tray filled with water, and some paper floated on top of the water for a second... easy peasy!!! very cool.

Kate--here is the link! Make sure to use the foam kind of shaving cream--not the gel kind.
