marbling
for a long time now, i've been convinced that home-schooling is all about the mommy. well, educating the mommy. for some idiot-reason, i thought that to do "marbling", one needed to use marbles?? but the kids have re-educated me AGAIN. kinda looks like a science experiment to me: you need a few different coloured liquid oil paints, dropped in to a large tray filled with water, and some paper floated on top of the water for a second... easy peasy!!! very cool.

So much fun. And you can dye T-shirts too!! And sweatshirts. (You need a big container though).
i know another super fun way to marble paper involving shaving cream and watercolors. it really works! email me if you want to know more....thefundiesATpeoplepc.com :)
Kate--here is the link! Make sure to use the foam kind of shaving cream--not the gel kind.
