kate5kiwis: plastic fantastic

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

plastic fantastic

there are 28 tutor classes at skool - each with thirty pre-teens to late teens in them. yesterday we all had a day out of classes and had an inter-house competition which included wearable arts, tug of war, and house singing.

for the 'arts, each class had to create two outfits out of recycled recyclables - paper, plastic, cans, etc. woozie masterminded a wedding set - inspired by the royals -

made from ironed plastic

sunshiney supermarché bags -

oh how we do love making stuff from rubbish.

there were loads and loads of wonderful creations,

but *drum roll*

woozie's outfit WON!!!
