kate5kiwis: les deux

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

les deux

he's a poet
and she knows it
time he stows it
now he flows it

mowing lawns time
ice cream freeze fine
floating clothesline
headful sunshine

cheesey teasing
soupy pleasing
movie chatting
long weekending

she's so breezy
one two threesy
lemon squeezy
easy pleasey

(i am feeling so fabulous - my head is full of sweetness cos the Bulldog has had the whole weekend at home with us - which is historically an unhappening thing and i loved it to bits'n'pieces - and DannyBoyTheSuperHero arrives home in five sleeps. there's a speshal way to count sleeps, ya know - it goes like this -
you don't count tonight, cos it's almost the morning, and you don't count tomorrow, cos, well, it's almost the morning. you don't count the day before the event cos you'll blink and you'll miss it. and ya don't count the day before THAT either cos it's almost the day OF. got that? so i think it's about one sleep until the weekend, give or take...)

So pleased you have the counting down so well....GRant has banned me from teaching the kids like that - although I do sneak it in...but Ems is just a bit too much like me, and it's all just a bit too exciting!! (I had to start counting her day time sleeps aswell before her birthday party!!)
Love ya
PS: My word verification is 'inflab' - what are they saying!! I'm pregnant!!

Hey girl --

Mark headed off for the drive to Hot Springs an hour or so ago. He'll be gone for 11 days this time. That counting technique of yours will come in handy!

Wrap yourself in the blissfulness of "everybody home at once"!

I left the comfort of my blogger read and clicked right through for a visit. THANK-YOU for letting me R-O-C-K it out with Guns n Roses.

Hope your enjoying the sun-shine. I love this time of year as family all start to gather together again leading up to Christmas.

lol, back atcha X

i have had that plan in the back of my head for two years - 'cept BD will be doing the teaching and i'll be wine-tasting at the local vineyards with you! X

that counting method totally makes the waiting bearable - how long 'til christmas - it's next week isn't it? X

lol - i am so uneduKATEd - i had to look that up! X

beach babe
i know - every morning the kids get up and i hear them talking about "only four more days now..." etc. there's a bit of breath-holding going on around here lol X

eleven (HA! i just wrote ELVEN and had to correct it!) days will fly by - and while you're waiting you'll be able to pack in eleventy girlie moments with mer - great plan X

HA! you are such a westie!!! LOVE IT!! yeah, loving this sunshine - we sneaked off to the beach again today! wishing you a wonderful few pre-christmas weeks X
