kate5kiwis: faith, hope, and love

kate5kiwis

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

faith, hope, and love

They shall grow not old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember them.

The army helicopter flyover sent goosebumps up my spine and shivers through my soul.
We salute the fallen. Lest we forget.

M6 regards the ANZAC Memorial Service through his green plastic binoculars.

Lest we forget, indeed. So much courage, so much sacrifice.

Something to be remembered and revered always.

I hear you... the flyover was just incredible. Even though we've been to parades before, this year was the first time we've been to a dawn service. Will try and do it every year now. We had plans to go to ANZAC Cove for Anzac Day in 2002... but a baby put paid to that. Still hope to do it in the future.
