“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

fellas @ bella's

Bella taught us how to do some felting today. It's a bit like *playing with clouds*. There is much arranging and gentle fluffing and squidging.. and playing with water and lux flakes... and bubbles get up your arms and in your hair and it makes everyone happy...

tufting
arranging
rolling
sudsing
felting
rinsing
admiring

Yes, we've made pot mitts - hot mitts for our kitchen musing. I think the finished products look very Monet, like an artist has splashed a whole lot of colour across a canvas.

And why (i hear you asking) is S10 wearing a bandanna on his head?
a)
he bought it to support Canteen
b) he's a *style guru*
c)
The Boys Are Back In Town *scratch, scratch*
d) ALL OF THE ABOVE

Oh no! Have you tried the conditioner trick yet? Smother your hair in layers of conditioner, comb it through so your hair is lovely and smooth. Wait 20 minutes..this is supposed to "stun" the little buggers and then spend hours picking every little crawly AND egg out. This is a do-every-day-back-breaking-painfully-annoying job but IT WORKS! make sure you are doing outside in the nice light because inside you will MISS them!
