mystery monday
it's starting to become rather a *mystery* why we ever started these mondays. we're supposed to follow the instructions, but today was rather w.e.t. in The Sunny Bay, so the first two sunshineyellow pieces of paper that we pulled outta the jar were No Can Do cos they entailed rather long walks (in the rain). so we made up our own: go to the pools, buy a Big Block of Choc, and eat it in front of one of our favourite movies...
hmmm, how predictable?! but 'twas a great end to The End of Weekend Clean, which included The Garage (ah no, not the huge garage huck-out, just a bit of moving things around)
woozie aka R14 whizzed home through the raindrops this afternoon and proceeded to open The Book, and found a peachy dessert which went into the oven looking disappointingly like *slops* and came out looking just like the photo in the recipe!!!!!
and i thought it was *delish*...
but i only had one helping, cos we all know:
a minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips.

Well done, R14! That's one gorgeous dessert. :)
That dessert looks delish!! Sorry for the rainy day, hope you all enjoyed your inside time.
Way to go on the dessert! So, what exactly does going to "the pools" mean? :)
*whispers*
guess what?? i stashed the leftovers from the peachy dessert in the fridge... for breakfast lol X

here is a wee movie of M5 at “the pools” … you know, it’s an indoor complex where one or more swimming pools are situated and and mommies can read a page or two of a mag while the littlest kiddo gets swimming lessons and the bigger kiddos shoot up and down the lanes like silver arrows (wearing flippers/fins) and get told off by the lifeguards for sitting on the lane barriers…. and everyone emerges from the pool smelling like a clean toilet bowl and the scent of chlorine doesn’t leave their hair for oh, at least three days….. but it’s worth it, especially on a w.e.t. day :o)
Perhaps you a wet n dry jars? - oh no hold on summer is just around the corner and it never rains there does it???
mmmmmmm yummy dessert, who needs dinner?
Missing those swimming lessons, our home ed ones are wayyyyy over in the Hutt. And the pools up the road have this 'schedule' of when you are allowed to swim and when the pool is being used for other stuff. Totally beyond my haphazard planning capabilities....at least you can read your mags now without me annoying you ;0) Luv Hay xxxx
P.S My word verification was
tzqzmbzq ....lol Maddy peering over my shoulder is like "That's a bit hard isn't it?" mean blogger.
your monday sounds wonderful especially the chocolate
well done to R14 yum
