carve diem
and i'm not surprised that you never take it off... it's too gorgeous. and what a beee-autifully braided string!!!
while we were waiting for D17 to get his piece of paper yesterday, we walked up and down The Main Street and we saw some pounamu (greenstone) pendants with their meanings attached: the fish hook means *determination, strength, and safe journey especially through water*
it's obvious you have the first two qualities... and i wish you the third. not that you are journeying through water in the foreseeable future. i don't think.

COOL!!!! And soooo NZ.
I want to buy both our boys pounamus for one of their significant birthdays. I taught kids at Kihikihi primary where the little girls had these beautiful heart shaped pounamus....VERY cool.
Oh and D17....driving!?!?! OH MY GOSH that makes me old!!! Like remembering 10 years (or more) ago having this young boy say..."Miss Laura, did you know......(some fascinating science fact)......."
Oh and the glasses.......very swish.
u have just reminder me how much I like bone craving must look out for one for myself
So jewelry making runs in the family, then. :)
Congratulations to D17!!!! I so remember those days well, how wonderful to have the new freedom.
And the bone carving is so cool too! I have to second Barb up there by saying that jewlery making definately runs in the family.
Extremely impressive work J11, it's just as you described, I love it!
