kate5kiwis: fence fixer upper

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

fence fixer upper

the ole family adage is: "measure twice, cut once..." and that's just what The Lads have been doing..
lots of banging and measuring and banging and back-patting and measuring and banging and sawing (and measuring) are going on out in the back yard today.
they are cutting off the top half of the back fence so that we can see the sheep when we pop outside for an espresso on the deck.

Men At Work:
hubby and S9
(who really hasn't seen austin powers,
but does a great dr. evil impersonation),

hubby (i'm bringing sexy back) and D17
and there are the sheep,
grazing peacefully
under the apple trees.

no sheep-gazing for M5 though,
he's discovered his newest party trick:
walking along the entire fence-top!!!

sheesh.
"Breathe, just breathe.." (guess the movie line)

Well Babe,
I do love the new view - we can now do coffee outside and enjoy the farmland just beyond the fence. So what's the next project - Koru time?
Love ya,

hi F. aka hubby,
one phrase:
hammer time.
see, to my mind, there are a couple of good things about *procrastination*:
1. you get all that thought-time to plan the job properly.
2. you get to do all those jobs that you wouldn't've done had you done the first job.
see, it's win-win.
