i remember doing the exact same thing at the same age. except at that age mine had less curl so i looked like princess diana, who was still lady diana.

total hilarity at skool this morning:

cos it was the last skool assembly for the year 13 students whose study leave starts this wednesday. they presented the usual certifiKATEs for all of the volunteer students and they'd made a fabulous video of their year group (complete with Mr P's globe jokes and the march of the penguins on the pool diving board).

the *surprise* for me were the TEACHERS AWARDS. there were about eight awards, and i managed to get a nomination for MISS ORIGINALITY and then....

i took out the award for MOST CREATIVE DRESSER!!! so i blushed and clomped across stage in my ten year old disco ball heels and the black lace skirt my auntie picked up from a garage sale a week ago (suz i also have our bracelet on!!!) the most hilarious thing is that i don't even teach these kiddos - i am just their sub - and a hanger-on to Sir's arm for all the functions he goes to. i won a teeny silver cup. i wanna swap it for the gawdy dolly that someone else won lol.

Sir won himself a spiderman watch for MISTER PUNCTUALITY to help him get to class on time.

oh boy i really want a replacement camera. some kids (not these kids) at skool wrecked the last one while taking pics of a class party. this pinkypic was taken the other week when i was marshmallowing marshalling (yeah that's me in the h'official looking orange vest) on the P!NK walk cos we had a hilarious moment when they *SQUEAL!!!!!* found me. i thought of an ingenious scheme to rescue the pic from fb cos no, i won't accept any friend requests from the little people lol.

and also worth mentioning - i am the Mathematician Extraordinaire. YEAH SERIOUSLY!!!!! i *TAUGHT* year 10 maths yesterday!!! yup, i wrote my notes on the board (don’t panic, i used the text book lol) and i even explained shizzit to the kiddos on the hop!!! and then i showed them axis of awesome (because axis is a maths word, you know) on youtube.

and now it's the weekend. this morning we grabbed our beautiful talented pre-exammy kiddos and headed to the beach where we walked and splashed and walked and then we even got maccas. it was perfect. i have the pics in my head.
