merrily, merrily, merrily...
R13 (third from the right) got out on the water late yesterday afternoon for her first rowing practice in the boat!!! i was amazed at how well the new rowers got into the rhythm. they were travelling really quite fast.

“If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to, no one with which to share the beauty of the stars, to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life? It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning. This is harmony. We must discover the joy of each other, the joy of challenge, the joy of growth.” — Mitsugi Saotome

The Hubby rowed all through high school and for 1st year uni. Loved it. Still waxes poetic about it.
What a beautiful and powerful sport. :)
Must be in the genes !
H.G.N. was into it and B.B.N. had a brief excursion - frowned on by the young N.S.!
