At The Top of The Bottom of The World

this morning Bulldog dragged us all out of our beds at the crack of dawn and WE CLIMBED MAUAO, right to the tippy tippy top.

A View From The Top:
two gorgy girls gazing out to sea

climbing to the top of the very tall tower

a luffly little moment

i can't remember what the joke was
but it must've been blimmin' hilarious!!

we are loving every minute with you, reminiscing about the last time we saw yas, catching up on the London goss, reading about the troubles in Solla Sollew, and making a million memories.

and now we're off to eat dinner: turkish kebabs with tomato jam, barbecued flatbreads, beans from GD's garden, accompanied by a glass of Viognier, and for dessert we have katie's chocolate cake with hokey pokey ice cream!!
and then...
it's gotta be The Princess Bride, by S. Morgenstern, chapter one...

  2. Sunshiny and beautiful! Makes me want to hike somewhere! Here, we have no beautiful ocean views at the top of our world, but the Blue Ridge Mountains are lovely hiking. Old Rag Mountain in the fall -- there aren't words for how beautiful it is.

Have a wonderful visit with your lovely clan! :) Post more photos when you have time! xxx

  10. That looks so kiwi and basically perfick. We need to get out more. I LOVE Sophie Gray's chocolate cake recipe, we use it for all our birthdays and any excuse in between. Her recipes (to me anyway) are completely sensible.
