The Beach Boys (reprise)
we must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky.
I still find myself struggling for that balance between work and play at the moment...our learning time is coming at the expense of our beach dwelling. We're 2 mins away and haven't been for yonks. I also can't quite get used to the dark, driftwood littered sands, which disappear beneath the waves leaving you stranded if you don't time it right, they say it'll grow on me :o)
go on girls pack up those picnic baskets and togs and towels and sand castle paraphernalia and drinks and books and balls... and kids... and head to the sand!!!
hay i have great memories of *black sand* beaches in west auckland, you can make The Best Sand Sculptures outta black sand, like stalagmites... just get it really wet and drip it slowly out of your hand onto the sand... see what you can create!!!! that's maths, science and art... tick, tick, tick all at the beach!!! X
