today, on the Official First Day of Spring - to celebrate D18 turning eighteen - we ventured to vegas (aka The Armpit of New Zealand) in The Sardine Tin (aka our little van) for a fabulous sunny day riding The Luge...

we had loads of laughs going up the gondolas and up, bounce, up the chair lifts...

and a ton of fun going down.

we tried out every trail: scenic, intermediate and advanced, and even though one or two of us canned off, it was totally cool runnings mon: peace be the journey, and everyone kept their *lucky egg* intact!!!

Oh, love that movie, Cool Runnings. Excellent title. :)
Ahhh your kids are so gorgeous. Looks like a blast was had by all, how cool is that.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring!! Winter went by pretty quick.
The speed of each ride seemed a little tame - are the Crazy & Wild G-hoons getting a little soft in their old age??!! Maybe becoming the G-homes (with a cup of tea and a blanket??!!!)
ReplyDeleteDo you remember when pre-children Grant and I spent a weekend in RotoVegas - we spent the whole of one afternoon racing each other on the Luge - I kept losing but was close enough to try again...very sad!

ReplyDeletelet's put it on the *must do* list for your NZ holiday!!!!!
